Tier 4 Excavators Offer Increased Power

Komatsu America Corp. introduced the PC1250SP-11 and PC1250LC-11 Tier 4 final emissions-certified hydraulic excavators. The excavators feature improved operator comfort, increased power, higher production, and a new operating mode, called Power +, which does not affect fuel consumption, the company reported. The excavators have SAA6D170E-7 engines with two Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filters that do not require diesel exhaust fluid or a selective catalyst reduction system. Other features include the KomVision 4 camera system, Auto Idle and Auto Idle Shutdown, KOMTRAX Plus Version 2 for machine health monitoring, integrated tie-off anchor points, and a hydraulically powered ladder. Komatsu CARE comes standard. The service provides factory maintenance for a set period.
