Intelsat has announced a new agreement with Convergia to expand the reach of its satellite connectivity solutions across the Americas. Through this collaboration, Convergia will offer Intelsat’s services, including those enabled by the Intelsat OneWeb low Earth orbit network, to customers throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, and South America. Intelsat says the move will help deliver high-quality, reliable coverage in areas where terrestrial networks may not reach.
The satellite services are designed to support continuous and secure connectivity for critical applications in industries that rely on operations in remote or underserved regions. The company highlights that Convergia’s ability to offer local currency billing and centralized regional support creates a simplified and flexible option for businesses operating across multiple countries.
“Convergia is the ideal solutions partner to extend our vision of connecting communities and businesses across the Americas. This collaboration reflects our commitment to delivering reliable and accessible solutions throughout the region.” said Mike Burkis, Managing Sales Director, North America at Intelsat.
