Flender Maintains Platinum EcoVadis Rating


Flender has retained its platinum medal from EcoVadis, placing it among the top one percent of companies globally in sustainability. This marks the second consecutive year Flender has received the highest ranking, improving its overall score from 78 to 83. Key advancements were achieved in environmental performance, which rose from 80 to 90 points, and in ethics, which increased from 70 to 80. These improvements reflect the implementation of new energy efficiency projects, employee-focused initiatives, and robust compliance measures.

Flender’s sustainability management system addresses environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, demonstrating its commitment to transparency throughout the value chain. Specific initiatives, such as utilizing heat from production processes for energy efficiency, regular supplier audits, and innovations like enhanced wind gearboxes, contribute to the company’s efforts to support the energy transition and reduce resource consumption.
