Mine Master Launches Low-Profile Autonomous Rigs

Mine Master has developed a broad line-up of low-profile and narrow vein mining equipment, with solutions designed for mine workings as low as 1.6 meters. The company says its FLP1410 jumbo drill is the only super-low-profile unit on the market to feature an Automatic Drilling System (ADS), enabling autonomous operation during shift changes. It also offers diesel and battery-powered face drilling rigs, roof bolters, and auxiliary machines tailored to confined underground conditions, with multiple models developed in collaboration with key mining contractors and OEMs.

Several machines in the portfolio—such as the Face Master 1.7KE and Roof Master 1.8KE—run on on-board battery power, which supports lower ventilation costs and safer working conditions. Other models include the diesel-powered Face Master 1.7D, which operates independently of the mine grid, and the Roof Master 1.7KA, which offers semi-automated bolting. The portfolio is supported by machines for scaling, hydraulic roof support, and other auxiliary tasks, with options available for both hard and soft rock mining.

Mine Master adds that the range reflects its focus on improving productivity and safety in underground mining while offering tailored solutions for specific applications and geological conditions.
