Almar Water Solutions at 10th World Water Forum

Almar Water Solutions participated in the 10th World Water Forum, in Bali, Indonesia in May. The World Water Forum is the world’s largest event on water, organized by the World Water Council to promote awareness, build political commitment, and trigger action on critical water issues at all levels. This year’s forum, themed “Water for Shared Prosperity,” has brought together global leaders, experts, and stakeholders to address the most pressing water-related challenges.

Carlos Cosín, CEO of Almar Water Solutions, joined the “How to leverage private sector expertise and financing” session organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). This roundtable focused on the crucial role of private sector investment and expertise in enhancing utilities’ climate resilience and sustainability.

Cosín was also a panelist on the “Worldwide Observatory for Non-Conventional Water Resources & Renewable Energy” panel. This high-level panel was coordinated by AquaFed, FAO, and the Institut Méditerranéen de l’Eau (IME). The discussion centered around integrating renewable energy with non-conventional water resources to enhance water security and sustainability.
