Magna MA01 Tyre Engineered for Mining Reliability

Magna Tyres has announced the MA01, a tyre developed to meet the rigorous demands of mining and earthmoving applications. Designed with durability and stability in mind, the MA01 is available in three sizes—17.5R25, 20.5R25, and 23.5R25—featuring radial construction to enhance ride quality, minimize vibrations, and support productivity on a range of terrains. The company highlights the tyre's self-cleaning tread design and robust rubber compound, which are intended to improve resistance to cuts and punctures, helping to extend its operational lifespan.

The 17.5R25 model includes a 27 mm tread depth and a load/speed index of 167B/182A2, offering reliability under heavy loads and at operational speeds. The company reports that in one real-world case, the MA01 achieved over 10,350 hours of operation at a pavement and concrete manufacturing site in Poland, retaining a tread depth of 3 mm, which underscores its durability and potential for cost savings.

Magna Tyres states that the MA01 is engineered to reduce downtime and maintenance requirements while delivering safe, dependable performance for a variety of equipment, including wheel loaders, dozers and articulated dump trucks.
