BEUMER Group Awarded Equipment Contracts in Brazil

BEUMER Group South America has secured two contracts from Gerdau S.A. to deliver stockyard machines to the Gerdau Açominas steel plant in Ouro Branco, Brazil. The scope of supply includes a FAM bridge-type bucket wheel reclaimer, a stacker, and a boom-type reclaimer, along with associated engineering, fabrication, transport and site services.

The equipment will be used to support iron ore handling at Gerdau’s flagship steel plant, which has been in operation for over three decades. BEUMER Group says the project will contribute to improving operational efficiency at the site by replacing aging machines and adding new systems tailored for high-capacity performance in demanding environments.
