Doofor says its hydraulic rock drills are designed for durability and performance across mining, tunnelling and construction applications. The company reports that many of its drills remain in use after two decades in the field, with spare parts still available and support provided through a global partner network. This focus on longevity is part of a broader commitment to lifecycle value and lower total cost of ownership.
Efficiency is another design priority, with Doofor noting that its drills are engineered to minimise energy consumption while maintaining output. The company also points to the modularity of its products, which allows operators to reconfigure machines for different setups using on-site modification kits. Fast access to spare parts and remote support are also part of its service model, which aims to reduce downtime and simplify maintenance.
“Our goal has never been to make machines that last just until the minimum expectations are met. We design equipment that can stay in the field for decades. For us, that’s the real benchmark of quality.” said Doofor CEO Kalle Kuusento.
