Pronto Acquires SafeAI

Pronto.ai has announced it has completed the acquisition of SafeAI Inc., strengthening its position in the off-road autonomy market. The combined company will now offer what it describes as the industry’s only tiered Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) portfolio, ranging from camera-only, rapidly deployable solutions to multi-sensor premium systems. According to Pronto, this approach is designed to address a broad range of operational needs in sectors such as mining, quarrying, and construction.

The acquisition also brings SafeAI’s ASIL D-certified safety framework into the fold, which Pronto says will enhance the safety and reliability of its systems. The company adds that the deal comes amid its ongoing international expansion, including a major agreement to deploy over 100 autonomous trucks with Heidelberg Materials and recent team growth in Brazil.
