MTG Expands Cast Lip Portfolio

MTG has introduced the new TM3-148 version of its CAST LIPS / TWINMET range, designed for large mining excavators with operating weights between 350–500 tons, such as the PC4000* and CAT6050*. The addition fills a gap between the smaller TM1 and larger TM5/TM7 sizes, giving customers a continuous range of 13 cast lip variants across four GET sizes, covering bucket widths from 116” to 201”. The TM3-148 reference features five positions and is compatible with the TWINMET tooth system and PROMET shrouds.

The new product is intended to provide the same benefits as other CAST LIPS variants, including higher productivity, reduced operational costs, extended operational time, and minimized downtime. It is available immediately, alongside aligned GET packages of TWINMET teeth and PROMET components.
