Gekko Systems, in collaboration with CSIRO, has introduced the OLGA Mk3, the latest iteration of its OnLine Gold Analyser designed for improved precision, reliability, and operational efficiency. The system provides continuous, automated measurement of gold concentration in slurries and solutions, replacing delayed manual sampling with near real-time data. This allows operators to make faster adjustments, optimise recovery, and reduce losses in gold processing operations.
The Mk3 model includes several technical upgrades, such as dual-size X-ray optics for enhanced gold peak detection, improved interference rejection for elements like arsenic, lead, and zinc, and a streamlined flow design that replaces the legacy agitated tank system. It also supports multiplexing, enabling the simultaneous monitoring of multiple streams across flotation, leaching, and electrowinning circuits. Additional design features focus on ease of maintenance and factory-tested performance, including high uptime and validated X-ray safety redundancies.
