Jama has developed the MRC 2, a stainless steel rescue chamber designed to provide safe and comfortable refuge for up to eight people over a 24-hour period. The chamber ensures a clean, smoke- and dust-free environment with continuous air quality monitoring and alarms for abnormal levels. It features an airlock with a toilet, storage for emergency supplies, and cooling capability for internal temperature control.
Equipped with a self-supporting power system via a 24V UPS, the MRC 2 maintains operation during power failures, running air purification, lighting, alarms, and monitoring systems. Its design includes fire extinguishers, personal rescue equipment, external reflectors, and the capability for remote operation. The chamber’s oxygen supply system allows occupants to remain without breathing masks, ensuring safety and comfort in emergency situations.
