
Boliden Kokkola Oy has selected Roxia Oy, based in Lappeenranta, Finland, to supply pressure filtration technology for its sulphur concentrate dewatering project. The contract includes delivery of a new tower press filter with auxiliaries, as well as capacity upgrades to existing filter presses. The installation is scheduled for the first half of 2026 and is designed to handle the chemical challenges of the application efficiently.
The technology aims to improve the dewatering process within Boliden’s operations, supporting enhanced material handling and processing. Roxia’s offering combines technical reliability with competitive pricing, supported by effective and responsive project communication. The delivery is intended to enhance both the capacity and efficiency of Boliden Kokkola’s current filtration systems.
