Putzmeister Underground has introduced the Wetkret 2 Narrow Vein, a new mechanized concrete spraying machine specifically designed for mines with limited access. The model is engineered for operation in sections as small as 2.5 x 2.5 meters and integrates the company’s latest pumping technology to deliver a compact, safe, and efficient solution in demanding underground environments.
The equipment is equipped with dual drive functionality, enabling operation via diesel engine or direct connection to the mine’s electrical network. Its telescopic spraying arm provides vertical reach of up to 7.5 meters, while the articulated design enhances maneuverability in confined areas. Additional features include synchronized additive dosing, integrated cleaning systems, and a range of optional configurations to adapt to diverse mining conditions.
Putzmeister highlights that the Wetkret 2 Narrow Vein builds on the experience of its Wetkret line, combining advanced pumping control with a robust traction system and safety-certified cabin. The machine is presented as a step forward in improving operational efficiency while reducing personnel exposure to adverse conditions in underground mining.
