ZF Industrieantriebe Witten GmbH has introduced its latest Redulus4F industrial gearbox series and the ProVID condition monitoring system, targeting heavy-duty applications in mining and construction. The new modular gearboxes offer up to 50% higher torque density compared to previous versions and cover a torque range from 120 kNm to 7,000 kNm, enabling flexible configurations for a wide variety of equipment. Alongside these gearboxes, ZF presents its GPT4F travel drive series, including models designed to deliver output torque up to 3 million Nm for large mining excavators and crawler cranes.
The ProVID system complements these mechanical innovations by providing real-time condition monitoring of entire drive trains. It enables early detection of abnormalities, supporting planned maintenance that reduces downtime and operational costs. ZF says its extensive global service network ensures fast repairs and component availability, which are critical for mining operations requiring high equipment uptime.
