Grundfos Sponsors AfWASA International Congress on Water Access

Grundfos supported the 22nd African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWASA) International Congress & Exhibition as principal sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to improving water access. Held from last month at the Speke Resort Convention Centre in Kampala, Uganda, the event brought together over 3,000 water professionals to discuss solutions for water and sanitation challenges across Africa. Grundfos participated in industry discussions focused on partnerships, innovative financing, and energy-efficient technologies.

The company’s Water Access team aims to reach 300 million people with clean water by 2030, working with governments, NGOs, and stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions. During the congress, Grundfos representatives spoke on key topics, including public-private partnerships and digital innovations for managing water distribution.

"At Grundfos, we are driven every day to transform water access for all, and one of the ways in which we do this is by partnering with important organisations across our sector to share best practice and drive innovation. The water access challenge is too large to be solved by one party alone, so events like these are a vital part of the ecosystem and an important place for new relationships to be forged and ideas to grow." said Anise Sacranie, Head of Water Access & Sustainability at Grundfos.
