Granite has launched a new state-of-the-art aggregate processing plant near Salt Lake City, Utah, designed to meet growing demand for high-quality materials in the region. The facility, powered by CDE wet processing technology, includes advanced systems such as the AggMax™ and AquaCycle™, enabling efficient production of washed concrete sand and rock. These systems also prioritize water conservation, recycling up to 90% of water used in the production process.
The plant will support local construction needs, particularly as Greater Salt Lake City prepares for significant developments, including the 2034 Winter Olympics. By incorporating CDE’s sustainable technologies, the facility aligns with industry trends toward resource efficiency and environmental stewardship.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Granite on this project. Our technology not only helps them produce high-quality aggregates but also underscores the importance of sustainability in today’s construction and mining industries. By recycling water and maximizing resource efficiency, this plant sets a new benchmark for environmentally responsible operations.” said Marc Jennings, Regional Manager for CDE.
