Jennmar Acquires Rock Bolt Facility in Sweden

Jennmar has acquired SSAB’s expandable rock bolt production facility in Virsbo, Sweden. The facility produces expandable rock bolts made from Nordic steel and supplies mining and tunneling projects in Europe and the Americas.

The facility will become part of Jennmar’s global operations, with all 66 employees offered continued employment. The company says that the acquisition adds to its manufacturing footprint and product portfolio, particularly in the hard rock mining sector.
