Danfoss Power Solutions is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its PLUS+1® machine control platform. Introduced in 2004, PLUS+1 was developed to simplify the customization of electronic machine control for off-highway equipment. Over two decades, it has expanded into a comprehensive system that integrates software, hardware, and engineering services, enabling OEMs to develop, optimize, and maintain electrohydraulic control solutions more efficiently.
The platform includes PLUS+1® GUIDE for software development, the PLUS+1® Service Tool for diagnostics, and a range of compatible hardware. Danfoss says that the system’s evolution has focused on improving ease of use, flexibility, and integration with multiple coding languages. Looking ahead, the company plans to enhance programming capabilities, advance connectivity and autonomy features, and invest in AI-driven efficiencies while maintaining a focus on cybersecurity and functional safety.
“PLUS+1 has helped OEMs improve efficiency, safety, and productivity while simplifying machine control,” said Paola Lugo, Vice President, Software, Danfoss Power Solutions.
