Weir Joins ICA

The Weir Group has joined the International Copper Association (ICA), aligning with the organisation’s goal of connecting stakeholders across the copper value chain. ICA highlights the importance of collaboration in advancing copper’s role in the energy transition and says Weir brings valuable expertise in mining technology and innovation.

Weir develops engineering solutions that integrate materials science with automation, aiming to support more efficient and sustainable mining operations. According to ICA, the company’s approach complements efforts to promote responsibly produced copper and strengthen industry-wide progress.
