Motion Industries, Inc., a distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts and provider of industrial technology solutions, has announced a joint venture with Tagodi Development Corporation. Tagodi is a resource contracting firm that invests in the Tahltan Nation in northern British Columbia, where mining is a key driver of the regional economy. The collaboration aims to deliver economic and operational benefits while aligning with Truth and Reconciliation goals.

The agreement focuses on strengthening local capacity in the mining sector, creating skills development and employment opportunities, and supporting community sustainability in northern British Columbia. By drawing on regional expertise, the partnership also intends to contribute to the long-term growth of mining operations in the area.

“Working with Tagodi, we aim to drive positive economic impact in the mining sector while supporting local development initiatives and honoring the region’s unique cultural heritage. We look forward to deepening our community connection.” said Brent Pope, Motion’s Senior Group Vice President, Canada & Sales Excellence.
