CDE has announced further details of CIRCLE, its two-day waste recycling symposium taking place in Brussels on 7–8 May 2026. The event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, academics, and technology experts to share insights on transforming complex waste streams into reusable materials. CDE will unveil a first-of-its-kind solution for PFAS soil remediation, building on its wet processing systems that currently recover 70–80% of contaminated waste.
Environmental attorney Robert Bilott, known for uncovering the global impact of PFAS contamination, will headline the symposium. His keynote will focus on the urgent need for innovation and collaboration in managing PFAS pollution and the role of technology in addressing one of the most persistent environmental challenges today.
“CIRCLE is a call to action. By convening global decision-makers in the heart of EU policymaking, the symposium will accelerate change in waste recycling and help rewrite the narrative around waste for a more circular future.” said CDE business development director Darren Eastwood.
