acQuire Upgrades Geological Data Management

acQuire Technology Solutions has released GIM Suite 5.5, its latest update to the enterprise geological data management platform used across global mining operations. The new version places particular emphasis on strengthening data integrity, workflow consistency and overall system performance, with the aim of providing a more intuitive and scalable approach to geological data handling. Version 5.5 also introduces pre-configured data capture tasks designed for multiple drilling and sampling techniques, which are intended to streamline field activities and reduce setup requirements for administrators.

Additional enhancements include upgraded underlying architecture that improves processing speed, stability and security, supporting the management of geological information under demanding operating conditions. The release forms part of the company’s ongoing investment in future-focused data management capabilities and is designed to help field teams capture more reliable data with greater efficiency.

“With GIM Suite 5.5, our aim is to make data capture work the way geologists do in the field. By tailoring tasks to specific logging and sampling methods, field teams can collect accurate data faster and with greater confidence.” said Geoff Forbes, Product Group Manager for the Mining Portfolio at acQuire.
