Azumah Resources Gh Limited has selected FLS as its strategic technology partner and supplier of all major equipment and key process technologies for the Black Volta gold project, the first fully Ghanaian-owned gold mine. The order, valued at approximately DKK 235 million, was booked in the fourth quarter of 2025, with equipment delivery scheduled during 2026 ahead of the mine’s planned start-up in 2027.
The supply includes critical crushing and grinding equipment such as gyratory crushers, a raptor cone crusher, SAG and ball mills, along with a pre-leach thickener, screens, apron feeders, and KREBS cyclones and pumps. The package also covers equipment for absorption, desorption, refining and detoxification. FLS will provide technical support during detailed engineering and site services for erection, commissioning, start-up and training. Spare parts and a performance guarantee are included to support the project’s operational reliability.
“We are very happy to receive this complete flowsheet order for this key gold project and partner with the miner in the development of the first fully Ghanaian owned gold mine in Ghana,” said Julian Soles, Products Business Line President at FLS.
