MacLean Engineering has announced a strategic collaboration with Sika aimed at strengthening their offerings in underground mining and civil construction. The companies say the partnership will focus on aligning MacLean’s shotcrete spraying equipment with Sika’s complementary chemical technologies, particularly in the areas of application systems and admixtures.
This collaboration is intended to enhance system integration and support innovation across both sectors. MacLean’s underground equipment portfolio and experience in mechanized ground support will be combined with Sika’s construction chemical expertise, including accelerators, grouting, and anchoring solutions.
“I’m very enthusiastic about this collaboration, the synergies between MacLean and Sika are very evident… Combining MacLean’s equipment and shotcrete expertise with Sika’s global chemical and construction prowess will be a game changer on a global scale,” said Jonathan Lavallee, MacLean Product Manager, Shotcrete Solutions.
