MacLean to Showcase Nevada Roots at MINExpo 2024

MacLean Engineering, a leader in mining vehicle electrification, will attend MINExpo 2024 in Las Vegas from September 24-26. The company will highlight its efforts to support decarbonization in mining at the Canadian Pavilion (booth 1221). MacLean’s team will include executives and representatives from their Elko, Nevada branch, alongside product experts in electrification, automation, and digitalization.

MacLean recently completed its first battery-electric underground motor grader, the EV GR5, which will soon be shipped to the Torex Media Luna project in Mexico. By the end of 2024, the company will have manufactured and commissioned over 100 electric vehicles worldwide, accumulating more than half a million operational hours since the launch of its fleet electrification program in 2015.

“The mining world gathers at MINExpo every four years, and this year, we’re focusing on our Nevada presence and global EV leadership,” says MacLean USA General Manager, Tara MacLean. “Our Elko branch, established in 2019, is a key part of our plans to expand throughout the western U.S., and I’m pleased to represent that team at the show.”
