Tenova to Supply Galvanizing Line for PT Tata Metal Lestari

Tenova has signed a contract with PT Tata Metal Lestari to supply a new hot dip galvanizing line for zinc aluminum magnesium alloy coated coils. The line, set to be installed at Tata Metal Lestari’s Sadang Plant in Indonesia, will have an annual capacity of 250,000 tons. It is designed to process multiple coating types, including Al-Zn, Al-Zn-Mg, and Zn-Al-Mg, supporting the company's production capabilities.

The scope of supply includes engineering, equipment, and automation systems developed by Tenova Italimpianti. The line is designed to ensure high surface quality and strip purity, incorporating a specialized furnace, air knife systems, and an inline skin pass mill. These features aim to maintain coating integrity and improve product consistency.
