Multotec Chile Adds Regional Mineral Expertise

Multotec Chile has entered a strategic partnership with global vibratory equipment specialist Hewitt Robins, aiming to strengthen mineral processing capabilities across Latin America. The agreement focuses particularly on the region’s growing copper and lithium sectors, combining Multotec’s regional knowledge and materials expertise with Hewitt Robins’ vibrating equipment and monitoring solutions. The companies state that this collaboration supports more efficient processing of critical minerals used in the global energy transition.

According to the partners, mining operations in the region will now have access to an integrated offering that includes locally manufactured equipment components, on-site technical support, and predictive maintenance services. The companies also note that local manufacturing can help reduce transport-related emissions, aligning with mining clients’ ESG goals. A real-time vibration monitoring system is among the technologies being introduced.

Multotec Chile says the partnership has already delivered results in Chile and Peru, where customers have benefited from targeted vibration analysis and performance reporting. The company plans to showcase its expanded offering at key regional events including PERUMIN 37 in Arequipa later this year.
