Liebherr-Australia and Glencore have finalised a series of supply agreements that will see 17 machines delivered across six mining operations in Queensland and New South Wales by the end of 2026. The new agreements represent the first phase of an expanded collaboration between the two companies.
Among the milestones are the first Liebherr machines to be introduced at Hail Creek and Ravensworth, as well as additional units joining established fleets at United Wambo and Bulga. To support the new deployments, Liebherr-Australia has committed to dedicated site services, including embedded technicians and operator training.
‘We are excited to announce this new era of partnership with Glencore. Securing multi-year supply agreements of this scale is a proud moment for Liebherr-Australia. It reflects the capability of our national team to support large, complex fleets and deliver consistent performance across multiple sites,’ said Brian Boitano, executive general manager of sales, marketing, training and solutions for Liebherr-Australia.
