Caterpillar has introduced its Cat® Fleet Bucket Program, enabling customers to fit buckets from any manufacturer with Cat ground engaging tools (GET). The initiative is designed to help mixed fleet operators standardize on a single GET solution, regardless of bucket origin, supporting a wide range of machines including excavators, loaders, and mining shovels. The program is supported by Caterpillar’s global dealer network and includes access to thousands of GET components such as tips, cutting edges, and protectors.
The GET offerings are backed by a 12-month limited warranty and an unlimited breakage warranty. Caterpillar also offers integration with its Bucket Pro App, which provides wear tracking, productivity data, and maintenance planning tools. Customers can also opt into Cat Customer Value Agreements (CVA) for parts availability and pricing stability. The program aims to reduce downtime and streamline parts management, particularly for operators working with locally sourced or non-Cat buckets.
“We recognize some customers have their bucket needs served locally by third-party bucket manufacturers. Our program is about Caterpillar meeting GET needs of the customer through their preferred channel,” said Atif Hassan, Fleet Bucket Program manager at Caterpillar.
