New Order for Epiroc in India

Epiroc has secured a significant order from Hindustan Zinc Limited for underground mining equipment and related support services. The order includes mine trucks and rigs for face and production drilling, to be deployed across several operations in Rajasthan, India. Hindustan Zinc, part of the Vedanta Group, is a longstanding partner with advanced mining operations.

According to Epiroc, the contract, booked in the first quarter of 2025, is valued at approximately MSEK 280 and includes a multi-year service and maintenance agreement. Half of the machines will be manufactured at its facility in Nashik, contributing to the “Make in India” initiative.
