Epiroc Introduces Next-Gen PCD Drill Technology

Epiroc has introduced its next-generation polycrystalline diamond (PCD) drill bits, engineered to enhance durability and precision in demanding drilling operations. Developed through extensive research and customer collaboration, the new drill bits feature a diamond-protected cutting structure and reinforced body design, promising longer service life and improved wear resistance. These bits aim to reduce downtime and overall drilling costs across surface mining, underground development, and construction applications.

The technology supports industry demands for greater efficiency and sustainability by extending drilling intervals and minimizing tool replacements, which also reduces waste and enhances operator safety by limiting exposure to hazardous conditions.
